Scotland Trip - Most Enjoyable & Treasurable one!

Here takes a Scotland Highlands tour for three days with little hesitance, later at the end of the trip, it become more enjoyable and most treasurable one in my life. If we would have taken any other choice other than highlands, I am sure that it wont be more fun than this. For that we must thank Mahesh for making all arrangements and organize the trip with the most reluctant assess (me, Davin & Mama). Honestly, we didn't help him in anyway other than financially, but here worth mentioning that I was the one who recommended this particular package. Anyway, let me stop thanking and start our journey, it goes like this. Mahesh booked the air ticket from Luton to Glasgow, and from there to highland experience package tour for two days including accommodation in a youth hostel at Loch ness. But for some strange reason Mama has suddenly changed his mind and went to Glasgow by train a day prior to our actual plan. He is crazy, really crazy, no word would suit him better than this. So, its only three of us (Of course, 3 idiots) started from Oxford by early morning by taxi and reached Luton airport well in advance. There was another crack head made mess regarding taxi, he inflated our cost of travelling by 35 pounds, since because he didn't keep up his word. Due to space and time restriction, I don't want to swear him here. Later, we took the Easy fly flight, which was more worse than local bus in India. There were no seating arrangements done, flight was too congested. Some how, we made it to Glasgow in time and started our highland tour there. We were taken by Mercedes mini van to sterling and from where we were taken to Dunkeld cathedral along with another three people, who are very nice and warm (of which one from Canada named Ms Susan and a Mom & daughter from Australia called Mrs Helen and Ms Freya). That cathdral was 1400 years old and has very beautiful scenery. If you are an aesthetic person, then you would dwell on its natural beauty. Then we moved for lunch at Pitlochry, at first we were so excited seeing an Indian restaurant there. Later we regretted for stepping inside because of poor hospitality and especially a guy whose spikes irked me a lot. I called him by name Cobra. I forgot to mention our Driver, Mr Tim. Really a very nice person, informative and a good singer too. He made us laugh out of our gut and I would certainly suggest him for anyone who would like to visit Scotland. From there our journey leads to Culloden battle field, where the British army crushed the Scottish clans. It was so brutal one in a sort of our Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Then, we reached Inverness and Loch ness, real beauty of nature, where 7 freshwater river joins. There are the glacier melt out of the mountains from Scottish Highlands, it was also heard most for its Loch ness Monster. There our one day trip comes to end and we been brought to youth hostel. A trip bonus was, next day morning boat trip which was not included in the actual plan. But, the location of that lake was awesome and bloody stunning. We had a chance to get a glimpse of the Urquhart historic castle of Loch ness and after boat trip we headed towards Glencoe, a Ski centre, splendid view which I've seen before only in the Window's wall paper. In between our travel, Tim stopped then and there for us to record the Scotland beauty in our Camera. To finish our second day trip, we had a lunch and seen some more beautiful sceneries along both sides of the road and landed again in Glasgow. Now, another big surprise came to us in the name of Premier Inn hotel, which was a 3 star hotel. Stayed there for really at lower economic price and enjoyed every minute of it. Next day, the final day of our trip headed towards Edinburgh, which was huge and massive. It was 5 times the scaled up version of Oxford. We been to the historic Edinburgh castle and spent a whole day there before leaving to Oxford. We never stopped clicking pictures anytime in this three days. That results in 1300 pics, almost to 4 GB in my external hard disc. There comes a mood swing for one idiot among us and he was roaming all alone. Here I ought mention what Mahesh asked me to say, i.e. if you are out for a trip with friends, keep your mobile off, otherwise some body will spoil your fun and joy. I hope this message would be received by that AH in a good tone. Then back to Glasgow, and to Luton and finally trip ended at Oxford St. Clements street. Though, the trip came to an end, not the fun, which grows every day when those memories are cherished forever!
