Most hottest day of this year 2010...

Today is predicted to be the most hottest day of this year 2010 at Oxford i.e. 30 Degrees. Its so hot, wandering in the summer would be a worst idea. I never felt that Oxford can be this hotter ever! Apart from this, every day starts even by four in the morning and the sun sets only by half ten in the night. To my goodness, its better to stay in Trichy rather than being here. At least there the people are blessed with fan, AC etc... Ironically, here all but one with the heaters.. grrr! No way to escape from the hot waves spitting element so called "SUN". Indian tropical weather is much better than this, because where in India, it used to sweat and the body potential to withstand the heat can be replenished by drinking energy liquids. Where as here, there is no sweat come out of your body and the hot rays were more fierce to make you dry as much as it can. The sun screen lotions, coolers and half dress are the driving elements used by public to move on. With out these, one cannot expect to go out of the house. But it all will last only till July, then again the winter starts. Back to warmer, heater, Jerkin and Jackets...

Cambridge Trip!!!

In a next few days, I went to Cambridge along with Merrila, Saranya and Sathish. It was a one day trip and all went well, expect the unexpected road delay. Usually, it take three and a quarter hours to reach Cambridge from Oxford. But on that day, for heaven sake, it took double the hours, almost six hours to reach there. It was fun on the coach, Merrila was the one who used the lavatory to the most. But I should not blame the driver, because he tried many short routes to reach fast, still he was stuck up some where in the middle of the Traffic. For that he apologized to all, which I really appreciate. Later the noon, we have reached Cambridge, but was expected to be there in the morning. After lunch at a small kebab shop, went to tourist info to have a better insight of Cambridge whereabouts. Then decided to visit all the museum (actually, free entry thatsy!!!) instead of taking a city sightseeing bus which is 13 pounds for each person. Among the three museum visited, I enjoyed the zoological museum the most, though visiting museum is actually not my cup of coffee! Then decided for punting, but we were once again stuck with the disappointment, because there was no self pedalling boat available. Its again 16 pound each for a punt and we have to carry a men to row. Its very expensive. To be more economical, spent some time on the river side, had nice break for long continuous walk and fresh air to breath, took some more pics and started to next place. After that we were tired to walk any longer, but for the sake of exploring went into the city centre shopping mall and clicked few pics, where taking photos are prohibited. In the middle of the photo session, Sathish was interrupted by a security and told not to take pics over here. Then we said sorry for the ignorance and left the mall silently. It was around 5 pm, so exhausted by walking around the city, went to Mc Donald's for a drink break to refill our hard thirsty and started to Oxford by half six and reached here exactly by quarter past ten. Now the day ends with a perfect journey and cherishing memories to preserve for ever!!!

Meet and Greet!!!

Last week full of greetings and regards from my Oxford friends! Almost I have updated every one that I am back... My graduate friend Saranya, came to pick me up from the airport. From Heathrow to Oxford, she was narrating all the events and exciting moments which I missed while I was away. Reached my home sweet home. Later, the day took some rest and started to sort out the piled up works. Next few days were gone to meet those buddies who were waiting for my arrival. Met my work place colleagues and university friends, had good time. Still few are missing, have to link up with them. Many of my friends have relocated and conveyed their regards over mobile and FB. I am very glad to see all my friends again and it was fun moving with them. End of the week, I have been to most historic place of Oxford, the Ashmolean Museum with Merrila, Prajitha & one more friend of Meri. Later that night, me, my house mates and my Land lady & her son had gone for the buffet dinner at First Floor Restaurant in Cowley. There was Indian, Thai and Chinese cuisines were served with sweet desert. We had a wonderful time together after my return. I personally had a warm welcome back from all my friends here at Oxford. Thats how my whole first week at Oxford had gone!!! Next comes is the Cambridge trip!

Finding Hard!!!

Its high time to do all things on my own. Highly independent life, at the same time more responsibilities. Have got many things clogged up. First have to clear it out soon. Have to reply for unopened letters from Bank, NHS etc. Finding more odd to start from scratch. Its all because of the luxury I enjoyed at home. From now on I have to restrict myself on food, because I am the cook. Many things have changed here at Oxford, have to get acclimatized soon. Meanwhile, have to call home regularly. In this busy schedule, I don't know really how I am going to link up myself. Its a fast world here. I am going to stick to their pace. Otherwise I would be dropped. Making my mind and body, mentally & physically fit to go head with it. Many friends moved out, have to call them and update all things with. It will take at least couple of days for me to settle and sort out all the incomplete work to be done!!!

Ready 2 leave....

Mixed emotions in my heart - feeling good to get back to Oxford & at the same time feeling bad and nostalgic to leave home. I've never felt this way before. Since its only two and half days more to leave, I've become sick of getting back. Its also because of home food, family and friends. I don't want to miss any of the home sophistication and privilege which I enjoyed in the past four months. Any how I've to leave India for which I cannot take up these excuses. My future remains an undefined mystery which holds millions of questions in my heart. Hope for the best I can! Had a great time with friends, though very little (just 3 days in a solid four and half months!!!), in which many of my pals were so busy with their work. So couldn't get sufficient time to link up... Lets hope for next meet with all friends. Mean time, I've to pack every thing which become a huge and difficult task. I am so confused with my baggage! I really don't know what to take and leave. Whatever I can bring from here can only long for just a month, later I've to buy all from Oxford. So planning to get less baggage for two reasons. First, in Oxford I can get every thing as I wish! Secondly, I am advised not to carry heavy weight. So I cannot pull two separate huge travel rollers on each hand. Therefore, I decided to carry just one roller and accommodate only little stuff which can be taken depend on the roller capacity. Looking forward to the next phase of my life after studies. As every human grows, their responsibility as well grows along with them. I too have many responsibilities and duties to look after. After had a major surgery and long sit back, now my total system have been refreshed and acquired new kinda energy. Hope those energy will make a positive thoughts which eventually lead to a positive action!!!

The Human Psychology!

The Human Psychology! I used to wonder how people often change their mind and character. I am no exception! Still you cannot accept when some body change their attitude all of the sudden to their favour. Usually, when people do suffer, then they start blame others for no reason. They tend to gossip about others behaviour and start become a story fabricator! In reality, when our mind felt distrust, stressed and low, we apparently becomes a talebearer. To just convince our self from the defeat, we start talk all non sense about others, especially one we hate most, instead of learning peace. This is the human psychology. This sort of mental attitude starts from home and lead to the work place and finally ruin one's happiness. Instead if they mature enough to get hold of their heart, mind and soul, they attain joy and happiness. When ever any efforts you put to do any thing doesn't turn up to be a acceptable work, then there must be some time needed for the same thing to become a grand success. By and large, the human mind stuck up with the huge success in one time. Therefore they cannot accept the truth that every effort or action you take to accomplish some work will reward you as you deserve in one or couple of times later! So nothing wrong in keep trying for the second time. I myself admired this quote many times when ever I feel low and when every thing were not going in the way I wanted "I didn't fail 100 times, rather I found 100 ways which doesn't work" by Thomas Alva Edison. Taking even your fall in a positive tone will help you to get a better perspective of your life. Its easy to say by word but hard to practice! Of course, life has many challenges and hurdles to reach what you desire! Opportunities are open and options have become wide, only thing is we need to think which one to choose! Life has two options on every step you take! Either right or wrong always persists! But which one to choose solely depends on you & your situation...

A good reunion!!!

Last Week full of joy and fun along with pretty excitement as well!!! Reason behind that was I met my friends after a full long year and half. It was fun and exciting when I was about to meet them. Starting with a get to gather along with my UG friends (Mukund, Nirmal, Krishna, Lingesh & Jyothi-only few) though many didn't turn up, it was great at Dhabba Express, Nugambakkam. Then next day met my best friend Aishu along with her hubby & kid. Especially when I met my friend with her, an year and a quarter old daughter, the moments were most beautiful and cannot express in words. Later my best buddy Chandru also joined us who had just returned from States. Moving around the Inox city center and had a little dinner there at food court. She was a cute little angel who can be capable of drawing every one's attention. Her infantile behaviour were amazing. Her name is Pranathi Venkat. She is very cute with KFC chicken wings. She tries to eat on her own with small boney thing on her mouth, so called TEETH. As it was very small, like two white blunt lines drawn on either side of her gums, she finds the chicken wings as a strong meat to chew on her mouth. Finally she succeeded on digesting it using her small teeth. It was so beautiful watching that stuff. Little angel gave me a long kiss on my cheek which was really great. Later on that day, I finished my long sweet day with another good school friend, named Sowndarya at Mylapore Saravana Bhavan. It was a heavy day with full of wonderful moments. I cannot afford to or never forget that day in my life. It was damn funfilling and a great joy to be hang out with our loved ones after a long time! Longing for another day of such sort in near future. This time I wish all my other friends would come and make it even more wonderful!!! Lets see how long it will take for another reunion - God only knows!!!
